The video quality is just what you would expect, not great but clear enough. The frame rate is satisfactory. The interface through USB with the computer works just like it's supposed to. My only complaint so far is that the band is a little small to fit a snowmobile helmet. It makes it but just barely. I have yet to see how long the 2 AAA's last but I am very happy with this purchase. If you want a helmet cam that isn't HD and you don't plan on recording for hours on end then this is the camera for you.

I've tested it outside a bit, looks really good for the small size. Distance does look better than up close. There is no IR night vision LED. After doing a search for the model that I received (DV-HC2), I believe it's "Engrish" for the laser targeting. I've tried using IR lights, they don't show up properly. Aside from that, the camera is good, and holds up to 32GB SD card. The built in mic has a 12ft range, but so far, all my tests have been low volume at close range, but its clear. Overall, it's a pretty decent camera, but without a helmet or at least a baseball cap, maybe choose the USB action sport camera, or the sunglasses over this one for versatility.
